A "casual visit" with media by Maharashtra Congress pioneer Narayan Rane on the eve of gathering by-surveys in rural Bandra, where he is the gathering applicant, on Friday drove Shiv Sena to record an instance of infringement of model set of accepted rules against him.
A war of words broke out between Opposition Congress and decision Sena over the affirmed survey code infringement by Rane in front of the surveying on Saturday.
"This is an infringement of the Election Code of Conduct. In any case Narayan Rane has damaged this condition by calling a presser," Sena MP Anil Desai told PTI.

Congress pioneer and Rane's child Nitesh, however,downplayed the occurrence and asserted no question and answer session was called by his dad.
"They may continue saying what they like. Firstly, there is no such decide that bans us from leading pressers. Besides, we have not called any gathering," Nitesh said.
"Since it was my father's birthday today, he welcomed the media to have an easygoing talk with him. There is nothing more to it," he included.
The Bandra bypoll has been required by the demise of sitting Sena MLA Prakash Sawant, whose wife Trupti has been fielded by the saffron party.
