Banwarilal Purohit is selected as new Governor of Tamil Nadu. 

Indian President Ram Nath Kovind selected Banwari Lal Purohit as new Tamil Nadu Governor. After K Rosaiah resigned in August 2016, it is the first occasion when that the Tamil Nadu state has a full time Governor. Other than Tamil Nadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit, President Ram Nath Kovind filled in opening in five different states. Mr Banwarilal was delegated as Governor of Assam State by President of India on 17 August 2016. He has been thrice chosen as individual from parliament from Maharashtra, Nagpur, twice on Indian National Congress' tickey once as a BJP part. 

Opening emerged in Bihar Raj Bhavan after its previous inhabitant Mr Ram Nath Kovind was chosen as President of India. Previous Delhi MLA Prof Jagdish Mukhi was moved from Union Territory of Andaman amd Nicobar to Assam. He has been supplanted by previous Chief of Naval Staff Admiral DK Joshi.
