Pinarayi Vijayan to be the next chief minister of Kerala.

CPM politbureau part Pinarayi Vijayan will be the next chief minister of Kerala. The choice to select 72-year-old Vijayan was taken at the state secretariat which met at AKG Bhavan, the CPM base camp, on Friday morning, party sources said. 

The declaration was made by Sitaram Yechury after the state panel endorsed the choice. 

93-year-old party veteran VS Achuthanandan, who was likewise in the race for the post, was called to the state secretariat and educated about the choice.
