Bank manager acquitted in sexual harassment case framed by Additional Superintendent of Police R. Nishanthini.

The Thodupuzha First Class Judicial Magistrate Court on Friday acquitted Percy Joseph Desmond, manager, Union Bank of India, in a case filed by Additional Superintendent of Police R. Nishanthini accusing him of sexually harassing and outraging the modesty of a woman in his office cabin at Thodupuzha on July 20, 2011.

The indictment case was that Pameela Biju and Yamuna, common cops under Ms, Nishanthini, drew closer the bank administrator for a credit to buy a bike and the denounced had gotten rowdy with Ms Biju. On July 26, the blamed was summoned to the ASP office and was captured and created under the watchful eye of the court. 

Mr. Percy Joseph Desmond created the CCTV visuals under the watchful eye of the court and contended that it was a manufactured case to settle scores for denying bank credit to a firm proposed by Sheeja Jayan, the then Thodupuzha civil bad habit administrator.

Mr. Percy Joseph Desmond contended that he had not got rowdy with the lady and the whole case was framed.
