Kerala police charged a case against Vellappally Natesan for creating caste and communal discord in society.
Mr. Vellappally Natesan had allegedly said the UDF government had remunerated an autorickshaw driver who lost his life endeavoring to spare two transient laborers in Kozhikode on the grounds that he hailed from a minority group. The same kindness was not reached out to three people from majority community who died in an accident. The questionable comment had incited the case against him.
Mr.Ramesh Chennithala said Mr. Natesan confronted no prompt danger of arrest. Ploice had any plan to stop his yatra. In any case, the government is resolved to maintain open peace and quietness no matter what.
Opposition leader V.S. Achuthanandan, Kerala Congress Committee president V.M. Sudheeran, and Congress MLA T. N. Pratapan had given separate petitions to the Home Minister looking for Mr. Natesan's case on the ground of makingcaste and communal conflict in the public eye.
He marked them to the Secretary, Home ministry, for further activity.
The Director General, Prosecution, told the office that Mr. Natesan's activities constituted an offense under Section 153 (an) and that a case ought to be enrolled.
