The Karnataka High Court will deliver its judgement in Jayalalithaa appeal on May 11
The Karnataka High Court will convey its judgment on the advance recorded by previous Tamil Nadu boss pastor J.Jayalalithaa against her conviction in the Rs.66.65 crore defilement case on May 11.
The site of the Karnataka High Court expresses that the case has been recorded for May 11 at 11 a.m.
Jayalalithaa has drawn closer the high court, testing her conviction alongside three others in unbalanced resources case by a trial court in Bengaluru on September 27 last year.
The court has sentenced Jayalalithaa to four years in prison with a fine of Rs.100 crore.
Other than Jayalalithaa, her associates N.Sasikala, V.N. Sudhakaran and J. Elasvarasi were sentenced by the trial court.
The lopsided resources body of evidence against Jayalalithaa and three others identified with the period from 1991-1996 including Rs.66.65 crore when she turned into the boss clergyman of Tamil Nadu interestingly. The case went on for around 18 years.
