Pentagon precludes Moscow claim from securing U.S. troops in east Ukraine

The Russian Defense Ministry said on Thursday that U.S. troops were preparing Ukrainian constrains in the contention zone in eastern Ukraine, yet the Pentagon straight denied it, blaming Moscow for a "crazy endeavor" to cloud its own movement in the locale.

Interfax cited Russian Defense Ministry representative Major General Igor Konashenkov as saying U.S. troops were preparing Ukrainian compels not just in western Ukraine "as Ukrainian TV channels show, however specifically in the battle zone in the region of Mariupol, Severodonetsk, Artyomovsk and Volnovakha."

The Russian Defense Ministry affirmed the report, yet the Pentagon straight denied it.

"This is a strange endeavor to move the concentrate far from what is really happening in eastern Ukraine," said Eileen Lainez, a Pentagon representative.

"Russia keeps on supplying deadly weapons, preparing and charge and control support for furnished separatists in eastern Ukraine, in glaring infringement of Moscow's Minsk responsibilities and Ukraine's power," she included.
