The Lucknow seat of the Allahabad high court has rejected a PIL looking for a heading for dropping the general population display testament of Bollywood maker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film 'Ram Leela' on the ground that it "hurt" religious assumptions.

"The appeal has been rendered infructuous since the cinematographic film has been discharged for open show. The request is, in like manner, rejected", the court watched.

A division seat of boss equity D Y Chandrachud and equity Shree Narain Shukla passed the request on Monday on a PIL recorded by IPS officer Amitabh Thakur and someone else in 2013. The applicants had looked for suppress of the general population display testament of the film allowed by the Censor Board.
