RSS leader Rajesh's Murder, BJP called for a State wide harthal.
The Kerala unit of the BJP has called for a harthal on July 30, 2017 to protest the murder of RSS party worker Rajesh (34) at Sreekariyam, close to Thiruvananthapuram city late on July 29, 2017.
Kerala state BJP president Kummanam Rajasekharan has charged the CPI(M's) deliver the murder, a claim disproved by the CPI(M's) Thiruvananthapuram locale secretary Anavoor Nagappan.
Mr. Kummanam declared the Hartal subsequent to going to the Kerala Institute of Medical Sciences Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram, where Rajesh's body is kept.
Rajesh, a RSS karyavahak (secretary), was murdered by a four members group close Sreekariyam when he was leaving shop at Kallampally in the wake of purchasing milk for his kid. His hand was cleaved off in the assault.
He was first moved to the Government Medical College Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram and shifted to KIMS later.
Mr. Kummanam said the murder and exacerbating lawfulness in the Kerala State capital will be brought up with the Center. He faulted the police department for not finding a way to check viciousness, which comes after the brutality and assault on State BJP office in the capital on July 26, 2017.
Police have ventured up vigil in the wake of the episode.
